I have been involved in the Search Engine Optimization Industry since 1998, about 6 months prior to when Google officially launched as a search engine. Things were a lot different back then, and if you knew what you were doing it was a breeze to get a top 10 ranking on the major search engines. Not so any more!

Throughout my professional career which started in 1992 I have helped and spearheaded the growth and marketing efforts of various small businesses. I have learnt a lot along the way, and immersed myself in all aspects of different businesses in order for me to gain valuable insight on how companies work from the ground up. It was often my responsibility to take brand new companies and ones that were in their infancy stages and come up with a game plan to increase their sales, and at the same time control their costs.

Whilst being involved in all aspects of increasing sales for various businesses was a great learning experience, it was the marketing and sales aspect that excited me the most. After all, without a sale you don’t really have anything!

I am extremely passionate about marketing in an affordable manner, while at the same time producing results for your business. I understand that when you invest money in to marketing, you need to get a return on your investment. I have often had to work with small marketing budgets, and did not have the luxury of spending money like there is no tomorrow. It has really helped me tremendously because it makes you think harder and smarter, and in my opinion makes you become a more creative person.

On the contrary, I have not always had to work with really skinny marketing budgets, but even when companies have a healthy amount of money allocated towards their marketing efforts, I have always managed to spend considerably less than what they had budgeted for. My attitude is if you can achieve your sales objectives by spending less money on marketing, then why wouldn’t you?

I do thoroughly enjoy helping others capitalize on their passions and desires to become more successful and grow their small business, and most people find me very easy to work with. Because I have been involved in a lot of start-ups and early stage businesses, I have a unique perspective on what works, and what does not. I know I can add value to your business by implementing affordable, but solid Search Engine Optimization techniques and core Social Media Marketing Strategies.
